GGSGH Delhi Recruitment 2026: 1079 New Vacancies Out – Anganwadi Helper And Worker Jobs
The Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of NCT of Delhi has officially announced the issuance of new posts at Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital (GGSGH) located in Raghubir Nagar. A large number of recruitments approved by the Hon’ble LG have been planned for pumping the medical and support staff in the hospital to bring improvement in health delivery services in the region and the number of vacancies is 1079.
Major Recruitment Categories
These posts are divided into two large models of hiring to ensure comprehensive coverage of hospital operations:
Regular Posts: 644 posts, as fixed posts in medical, nursing, and technical departments.
Outsourced Positions (435 posts): These positions are primarily involved in essential support services such as security and housekeeping.
Important Regular Job Positions and Related Pay Levels:
The normal staff recruitment is based on the 7th Central Pay Commission guidelines, which provide a good pay scales for different professional levels:
Medical Specialists & Officers: There exists a total of 98 Specialist positions at Level 11 and 145 Medical Officer positions at Level 10.
Nursing Department: A total of 288 jobs for the post of Nursing Officer (Level 7) have been created in the proposed organizational structure. In addition, there are the senior positions of the Nursing Superintendent (Level 11) and the Deputy Nursing Superintendent (Level 10). Technical Support: The technical support staff include 14 bio-medical engineers at level 7, 5 pharmacists at level 5, and 4 lab technicians at level 8.
Administrative & Other Roles: The recruitment also involves 29 Junior Assistants at Level 3, 6 Fire Safety Officers at Level 6, and 5 Medical Social Workers at Level 4.
Key Support Staff (Outsourced)
Outsourced positions approved to maintain the hospital for safety and hygiene: 435
Security Services: This encompasses 253 Security Guards and 5 Security Supervisors.
House Keeping: The housekeeping services employs 177 nursing orderly.
All outsourced personnel will be paid according to the conditions of minimum wage.

Recruitment Rules (RRs): All posts are to be filled strictly in accordance with the norms laid down in their Recruitment Rules.
Rule Finalization: The method for finalizing RRs for any totally new categories will start right away after the official inception of these categories.
Pay Consistency: The levels in the 7th CPC will remain, but in case of technical issues, the Recruitment Rules pertaining to the post will apply.
