Finally PU Golden Chance 2026 Out Now
Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has officially announced the “Golden Chance” for all the students studying in different Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Professional Courses. The basic idea behind this initiative is to provide an opportunity for the students who have already attempted all their permitted attempts in order to clear their degrees.
What is the Golden Chance?
This special examination session provides the students with an opportunity to clear their pending ‘Reappears,’ ‘Compartments,’ ‘Full Subjects,’ ‘Improvements,’ and even the pending ‘Practicals,’ provided they are studying in the courses which are offered in the Semester System.
Key Details and Eligibility:
Eligible Admission Years: The eligible admission years for Undergraduate students are 2014 and later, whereas for Postgraduate/Professional students, the eligible years are 2011 and later.
Current Focus: Currently, the applications are being accepted only for Even Semesters (2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th semesters).
Exam Schedule: The exams will be conducted in April/May 2026 along with End Semester Examinations.

Essential Deadlines:
Date of Opening of Portal: February 12, 2026
Date of Closing of Portal: March 11, 2026
Fee Structure:
UG – ₹7,500
PG/Professional – ₹15,000
Concession:
A concession of 50% of the fee will be given to SC/ST candidates.
Mode of Examination:
Examinations will be conducted offline only. The candidates can refer to the official university website for guidelines on the syllabus.
