Today is February 11, 2026 and the NTA has confirmed the exam window is for CUET PG 2026 is March 13 – April 1, 2026. That leaves you with roughly 30 days for exam preparation and get admission into a top Central University like DU, JNU, or BHU.
If you haven’t started studying yet, or if your preparation is messy, don’t worry here is an easy last 30 days preparation strategy for you that is going to help you .
The Good News: Why 30 Days is Enough
In previous years, you had to study for a General Paper (Part A) alongside your main subject but for CUET PG NTA has completely removed the Part A for almost all papers.
Old Pattern: 100 Questions (25 General + 75 Domain) in 105 Minutes.
New Pattern (2026):75 Questions (Domain Only) in 90 Minutes.
What this means for aspirants : Students don’t need to waste time on English, Math, or General Knowledge (unless that is your specific paper code). You only need to master your specific subject.
->Here are some simple steps you need to follow :
1. Download Previous Year Questions (PYQs): Get the papers from 2024 and 2025 immediately.
2. Identify the “Repeaters” in every subject, there are 5-6 topics that NTA asks every single year.
3.The “2-Hour Rule” , spend 2 hours on one high-weightage topic, then take a break. Do 3 slots a day.
4. Stop Making Notes: You don’t have time. Highlight your books or use sticky notes.
5. Now that you have studied the main topics , start attempting one Mock Test every alternate day.
6. And do analyze these mock tests, A mock test is useless if you don’t analyze it.
->Some subject specific tips :
1. For Arts/Humanities (History, Pol Sci, English): Focus on Chronology (timelines) and Books & Authors. NTA loves asking “Arrange these events in chronological order.”
2. For Sciences (Physics, Chem, Botany): Focus on Numericals and Formula application. Theory questions are usually direct from NCERT/UG level standard books.
3.For MBA (COQP12): Practice Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning daily. Speed is your only enemy here.
The CUET PG 2026 exam pattern is shorter and sharper. It rewards specialists, not generalists. You have 30 days. That is 720 hours. You only need to study for about 150 of them to make a difference.
